Circulon Infinite Hard Anodized 10 Piece Cookware

AS THE COMPANY SAYS, SOME THINGS WORK BETTER WITH CIRCLES…..I HAVE TO AGREE!

Circulon Infinite Hard Anodized 10 Piece Cookware
Circulon Infinite, manufactured by Meyer, the same company behind renowned brands like Rachael Ray and KitchenAid cookware, offers a unique and distinct cooking experience.

Initially, I anticipated that this Circulon cookware would be similar to other Meyer products, albeit with a different aesthetic. However, after conducting thorough research, I must admit that the company's claim about the effectiveness of circular designs holds true. I am truly impressed by the exceptional qualities of this cookware. In fact, if given the opportunity, I would confidently declare it as the finest non-stick hard anodized cookware set available at its price point.

WHAT’S INCLUDED?

This is a 10 piece cookware set.  Here’s what’s included:

  • 1.5-qt. Saucepan with lid
  • 2-qt. Saucepan with lid
  • 3-qt. Saute’ Pan with lid
  • 8-qt. Stockpot with lid
  • 8-in. Skillet
  • 10-in. Skillet

WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE?

Circulon Infinite cookware stands out for its distinctive feature - the circles. Each pan is designed with a series of hi-low concentric circles on the inside base, giving it a unique and recognizable appearance. These circles not only add to the aesthetic appeal but also serve a functional purpose. They are part of Circulon's proprietary food release technology, which sets it apart from other cookware brands. More details about this innovative technology will be discussed later.

WHAT IS IT MADE OF?

The construction of these Circulon Infinite pans is truly one-of-a-kind. They are crafted from a heavy gauge hard anodized aluminum, ensuring durability, and feature a long-lasting nonstick coating on the inside. Moreover, these pans boast a patent pending stainless steel base that fully encloses a thick aluminum core.

Thanks to the excellent heat conductivity of aluminum, the Circulon pans offer rapid and uniform heating without any hot spots. Additionally, the stainless steel base allows these pans to be compatible with all types of stove tops, including induction. It is worth noting that Circulon was the pioneer in producing hard anodized induction cookware.

WHAT ABOUT THE NON-STICK COATING?

Circulon cookware utilizes DuPont’s™ advanced Autograph 3-layer nonstick coating, which is applied both on the inside and outside of the cookware. This coating is one of DuPont's most innovative nonstick offerings, designed to provide maximum performance, long-lasting durability, easy cooking and cleaning, and excellent resilience. It has undergone rigorous testing in restaurants and is specifically tailored for quality-conscious and passionate cooks.

A standout feature of Circulon Infinite cookware is its patented TOTAL® Food Release system. The nonstick coating is uniquely applied in a "Hi-Low" ring design, reducing surface abrasion by allowing only a portion of food and utensils to come into contact with it. This results in exceptional food release performance and enhances the overall durability of the nonstick coating. This feature is consistent across all Circulon pans that are nonstick.

Circulon nonstick cookware is safe to use with metal utensils, providing added convenience and versatility. However, it is important to read and follow the precautions mentioned below.

In contrast to regular hard-anodized pans, Circulon Infinite also features the application of nonstick coating on the exterior of the pan. This not only facilitates easy cleaning but also prevents staining, scratching, and chipping, thanks to the hard-anodizing process. Additionally, it ensures that the Circulon pans maintain their attractive appearance. This particular feature makes the Circulon pans dishwasher safe, further enhancing their convenience and ease of use.

ANY COOKING PRECAUTIONS YOU SHOULD BE AWARE OF?

To ensure the longevity of your Circulon Infinite cookware, it is advisable to use utensils made of plastic, wood, or rubber while cooking, even though the cookware is metal utensil safe. Avoid using high heat with these pans, as it can lead to food sticking. Instead, opt for low to medium heat, as these pans are designed to distribute heat effectively.

Additionally, refrain from using cooking spray, as it can burn at lower temperatures and create a buildup on the non-stick coating, resulting in sticking and damage. It is important to note that using cooking sprays and high heat will void the warranty on these Circulon pans.

After each use, it is recommended to wash the pans to prevent the accumulation of food residue, which can eventually cause sticking and damage to the non-stick coating. Although dishwasher safe, it is advisable to wash non-stick pans by hand to extend their lifespan. Why not take the extra step to preserve a good thing?

AS FOR THE HIGH-LOW CIRCLES…………

People frequently inquire, "Do food particles become trapped in those crevices?" The response is negative. The crevices serve as a safeguard for the nonstick coating, preventing food from adhering to the pan.

WHAT ABOUT THE HANDLES?

The pans are equipped with handles crafted from durable cast stainless steel, securely fastened through riveting. The company assures that these handles are specifically designed to remain comfortably cool on the stove top. However, there have been a few grievances (refer to the section below) regarding the handles becoming hot.

WHAT ARE THE LIDS MADE OF?

The pan lids are crafted from durable stainless steel, boasting a substantial weight. They have a sleek design, sitting close to the pans and providing a secure fit.

IS IT EASY TO MAINTAIN?

The Circulon pans are designed with a superior non-stick coating on both the interior and exterior, ensuring effortless cleaning. To make maintenance even more convenient, you can simply place them in the dishwasher after use. As attested by a satisfied user, these pans require minimal effort to maintain and are highly suitable for individuals leading busy lives.

CAN YOU USE THESE IN THE OVEN?

Circulon Infinite cookware can be safely used in the oven at temperatures up to 500F.

 WHAT ABOUT THE BROILER?

Although the Circulon cookware website does not provide any information on this matter, it is highly recommended to avoid using the broiler with ANY non-stick pan, regardless of what the manufacturer claims. The rationale behind this advice is that when exposed to high temperatures, non-stick coatings not only degrade but also emit harmful fumes.

IS IT DISHWASHER SAFE?

Indeed, the Circulon pans are dishwasher safe due to their exceptional nonstick coating, which is applied both on the inside and outside. This high durability of the coating ensures that these pans remain in pristine condition even after multiple cycles in the dishwasher, as reported by satisfied users.

CAN IT BE USED WITH INDUCTION COOKTOPS?

Yes, this particular cookware set is among the limited options of hard anodized sets that are suitable for induction cooking.

DOES IT INCLUDE A WARRANTY

Yes , it is accompanied by a warranty that lasts a lifetime.

WHAT OTHERS ARE SAYING

Circulon Infinite cookware boasts a multitude of contented users, with numerous individuals proclaiming it as the pinnacle of cookware excellence!

ARE THERE ANY COMPLAINTS?

A comprehensive review of cookware would not be complete without addressing any complaints or drawbacks. The Circulon Infinite cookware, while highly regarded by many users for its cool handles during cooking, has received some feedback suggesting that the handles do get hot. To mitigate this issue, it is advisable to utilize medium heat while cooking and employ pot holders for added safety.

Interestingly, a number of users were taken aback by the weight of the pots and pans. While this may be viewed as a negative aspect by some, it actually speaks to the cookware's sturdy construction and its ability to maintain a flat surface, which is particularly important for ceramic or glass cooktops. Furthermore, the larger pots are equipped with helper handles to facilitate lifting.

A few users expressed their preference for a greater disparity in size between the 1.5 and 2 Qt pans, suggesting that a 1.5 and 3 Qt option would have been more desirable.

Certain users felt restricted by the recommended use of only medium to low heat. Circulon asserts that the pans are excellent heat conductors, eliminating the need for high heat during cooking.

Lastly, a small number of users desired a larger skillet option.

It is worth noting that the handles of the lids tend to become hot during cooking, so it may be necessary to use gloves when handling them.

WHERE CAN YOU BUY IT

The cookware is typically available at the best price on Amazon, but it is advisable to keep an eye out for sales as they frequently occur.
